Here at Menagerie Farm we offer our own alpaca fiber, roving and garments.  All products are 100% American alpaca with most of the items coming from our own animals.  Any mill spun or commercially prepared yarns/roving are produced from North American mills.

Yarns

All handspun and hand dyed yarns are done here at the farm.  Orders can be placed by phone or email.  Check or money order acceptable.  There is a $10.00 shipping/handling fee.

Hand Dyed Yarns

Ocean’s Away.  Mill spun, 100% alpaca hand dyed in varying shades of blues, greens, and yellows.

Tropical Sunset.  Mill spun, 100% alpaca hand dyed in varying shades of reds, oranges, purples and yellows.

Painted Desert.  Mill spun, 2-ply 100% alpaca hand dyed.  This skein was made using a medium fawn and over dyed with shades of purple, champagne, blues, and taupe.

Naomi has been handspinning yarn, using the Ashford Electronic Spinner, since 2003.  She entered her first skein competition in 2004 earning her a blue ribbon.  Since then, she has gone on to enter several skein competitions, as well as fiber arts competitions, bringing home all 1st or 2nd place ribbons.

Purple Rain.  Mill spun, 100% alpaca hand dyed in varying shades of purple and then put into a pull ball.

Vintage Wine.  Mill spun, 2-ply 100% alpaca hand dyed.  This skein was made using a medium fawn and over dyed with burgundy, then put into a pull ball.  Ball consists of leg and neck fiber and is appropriate to use for felting projects.

Worn Denim.  Mill spun, 2-ply 100% alpaca hand dyed.  This skein was made using a medium fawn and over dyed with Copenhagen blue, then put into a pull ball.  Ball consists of leg and neck fiber and is appropriate to use for felting projects.
